I hope you guys had a better Christmas than I did, or just a better holiday season or day if you don’t celebrate Christmas.

Projects

Still, still, extremely slow. For reasons I will soon elaborate on, I didn’t get to do much project work due to being in bad health on multiple fronts, and I finally just had to cut my losses and admit that I don’t have an estimate TOA for Return of the Trap Masters because of life kicking my ass and making me unable to seriously write.

The one positive is that I finally finished an old fic that’s been sitting in my drafts for months at this point. It’s a Ring of Heroes fic about Flameslinger and Eugenie having a heart-to-heart about family issues, so if you wanna read that, you can find Hearth to Heart here.

How’ve you been, Tilde?

In rough order:

• Everyone in my family got bad colds right before Christmas, myself included, so I spent two days bedridden and my Christmas holiday sick.

• I spent most of Christmas on-edge and worrying about my parents fighting and didn’t even really get to enjoy it all that much because I was worrying.

• The day after, I went in to retake the learner’s permit test so I could get my permit again, ended up flunking it because they changed out a lot of the questions and I didn’t recognize them, and then my parents had a terrible fight.

As you can guess, I’m feeling awful. The one upside is that I did get some nice stuff for Christmas (I got some new clothes, a bunch of candy, and Sonic x Shadow Generations which I’ve been slowly playing through and enjoying a lot), but god damn can I have a nice week for once. I just wanted to get my fic writing done and enjoy having some peace before I started my next class, whyyyyyyy.
