Keroro OC Refs

So, my Keroro SI from middle school decided to rise from the grave and sink its claws back into me, and as I was creatively spent and needed to switch things up from my usual, I decided to overhaul a bunch of Keroro OCs I made in middle school! These were drawn from May 14-18th, 2026.

In order from top-left to bottom right, we have:

  • Rabumi "Mimi" and Ranshouseki "Ran" Morishita (the kira-kira name is very much so intentional), the daughters of a wealthy family whose parents are constantly running around and forget they exist. One day, they get caught in the middle of some shenanigans from a pair of platoons warring to conquer Earth and are turned into Keronians. To keep the Keronian Army from finding out that their cover was blown, they take the girls and pass them off as stranded Keronian kids (aliases Rariri and Kimomo) while they try to find a way to turn them back, but gradually grow attached to the girls. After learning that they're extremely neglected and basically abandoned by their birth parents, they come to adopt Mimi and Ran as their children and effectively give up on invading Earth to raise them, and that's only the beginning of their alien adoption shenanigans!
  • Warrant Officer Parere, the platoon's leader and namesake. A laid-back chemist who can use his high-tech paintbrush to craft whatever sort of terrain or chemical mixture he wishes.
  • Private First Class Cupipi, formerly a prominent Keronian idol who was hired by the Keronian military to perform for soldiers as a morale booster, she's long since passed her prime and still yearns for her glory days.
  • Assassin Minini, an assassin from a family with long-standing historical ties to Keron's government and military. Their method is choice is poisoned food.
  • Corporal Kariri, an enigmatic man with a larger-than-life superhero persona and the power to control light.
  • Lance Corporal Tamimi, a voice actress who left her acting career to join the military and uses her wide vocal range to mimic just about anyone.
  • Recruit Clelele, an idol sensation who can manipulate people's minds with her music, literally and metaphorically. Dons a cutesy, peppy idol persona to mask her rotten and selfish true personality.
  • Colonel Zemomo, team leader and namesake. A strict, militant man with a strong code of honor only hampered by his long-standing rivalry with Parere.
  • Chief Medic Rukuku, once a highly-respected military official until a specific incident led to a demotion. She mentored Zemomo back in the day and he holds a deep respect and gratitude towards her for it, so he did her a solid and let her join.
  • Sergeant Major Fototo, a strict and literal-minded man who has an obsession with numbers and predictions. Always carries around a sack of fortune cookies and uses the fortunes he gets from them to plan his every move with surprising levels of accuracy.
  • Lance Corporal Aikaka, an amnesiac with mysterious powers that not even they are entirely sure of. The Keronian military snatched them up after some incident they don't even recall and dropped them with Zemomo out of hopes that he could awaken their inner potential and memories.
